Nice campground! I spent three days here. Very quiet with many shaded sites. Nice hiking trails. Would be a great place for camping with a large group!

This place is beautiful and a very peaceful getaway.. its a great clean camp ground place..when you want to get away from the traffic and city I would recommend coming to oak flats.. There is tables, fire pits, and portable toilets available.. There is acorn trees and joboba bean bushes surrounding the area.. no reservation fees or fees to campout..
Beautiful an peaceful campground. Nice spots good hiking an climbing areas near by. This spot is actually threatened by a mining operation from an overseas company. Please visit an enjoy this free beautiful campground before we lose it.
Love this place lot's of memories my mom says up until the last 5 years her family has spent ester Sunday since she could remember. Since I could remember all week before Easter for me up until last few years I would at least spend 1 night there. With my father when we turned 12 me and cousin tommy would stay up there 5 nights for years. Just one thing im glad there trying to stop it, but I have never in my life seen no tee pee structures native American anything I have been all over that mountain all my life I know a place there that after it rains in the summer would blow your mind. I dont think that stuff really belongs there!!!
